Glenn T. Evans

Chief Executive Officer

As Words & Numbers’ CEO, Glenn leads the Executive Management team, monitors financial performance, develops a corporate vision and strategic plan, and establishes and protects company culture.

Glenn has spent his entire career in the educational publishing industry, holding roles of increasing responsibility within Monotype Composition Company and becoming its President in 1990. He sold a majority share of the company in 2003.

In 2000, Glenn and Phyllis Hillwig created Words & Numbers, from Monotype’s Editorial Division. Glenn is Words & Numbers’ majority shareholder.

Glenn has degrees in Finance and International Studies from Towson University.
